We value nature and want our products to contribute to a transformation towards true sustainability. That's why we use raw materials for Tallow & Marrow that come from species-appropriate animal husbandry on permanent grassland . The animals feed 100% on grass – fresh on the pasture or in the form of hay and silage. When selecting our partner farms, we place the utmost importance on ensuring that no feed additives such as grain or soy are used. Only in this way can we guarantee the highest quality of our Tallow & Marrow while simultaneously achieving our sustainability goals.
Natural cosmetics reimagined
While classic natural cosmetics are increasingly replacing mineral oil-based skin creams – and rightly so, because petroleum doesn't belong on our skin – most natural cosmetic products still rely on plant oils from Mediterranean or tropical regions. You're probably familiar with shea butter, almond oil, or cocoa butter. These raw materials have to be imported over long distances and are therefore not truly sustainable. Even domestic plant oils like sunflower oil should be viewed critically: they come from arable farming , which – even with organic cultivation – has less biodiversity than permanent grassland.
