Application

Our nourishing soaps are suitable for daily cleansing of the body, hands, and hair and are appropriate for all skin types. The soap lathers gently with water. Alternatively, use our soap bag for an extra creamy, rich lather. Apply the lather to your skin, massage it in gently, and then rinse with water. For a natural skin balance and an all-around pampered, clean feeling.

What is Marrow?

Marrow refers to the soft fatty tissue inside long bones, also known as bone marrow. It consists largely of fat and can be gently extracted by heating. Early on, it was used not only as a source of nutrients but also for skincare – for example, in ointments for skin problems. When processed into soaps, it provides natural lipids that help the skin regenerate and support the skin barrier.

What is Tallow?

Tallow is the English term for tallow – a solid fat extracted from the tissue of slaughtered ruminants such as cattle. Beef tallow, which comes from the fatty tissue around the kidneys, is particularly high-quality. When rendered, it produces a spreadable, light-colored mass with a high proportion of saturated fatty acids. Tallow was used to make soaps and ointments as early as the Middle Ages. In skincare, it continues to be valued today for its stable structure, its moisturizing effect, and its skin-like composition.

What makes our beef tallow soap special

Many soaps containing beef tallow rely solely on the moisturizing properties of the fat. Our Marrow Tallow Soap goes further: it combines organic beef tallow with organic bone marrow. This nutrient-rich combination protects and actively supports the skin. The bone marrow also provides natural components traditionally used to care for irritated skin. Our Marrow Tallow soap has a pleasantly natural, subtle fragrance. The "Pure" variety is neutral, as it contains neither artificial perfumes nor essential oils. In the varieties with organic essential oils – such as lavender, lemongrass, or orange – a gentle fragrance unfolds during washing, quickly dissipating and leaving no overpowering residue on the skin.

In terms of how it feels on the skin, this soap impresses with its creamy texture, which has a nourishing effect right from application. It cleanses thoroughly without leaving any tightness, and ensures soft skin. No greasy residue, no stickiness – just smooth, clean skin.

Ich bin begeistert von dieser Seife. Sie hinterlässt ein ganz besonderes Gefühl der Sauberkeit und Reinheit, ganz ohne Auszutrocknen. Ich benutze sie nur im Gesicht bis jetzt. Absolut keine unangenehmen Nebeneffekte. Ich habe den Duft lemongrass gewählt. Lovely, dezent aber frisch. This feels like a forever love and long term relationship. Werde nichts anderes mehr benutzen zur Gesichtsreinigung. Ich bin 54 und Habe normale Haut mit öliger T Zone. Unterstützt die perfekte Balance. Klasse! 5***** Danke

So gut!

Die Marrow & Tallow Seife ist zu meinem absoluten Favoriten geworden. Mit jeder Dusche wurde meine Haut so schön weich und trotzdem gleichzeitig fester. Es fühlt sich richtig gut an. Mein Mann staunte, wie weich sich meine Haut seitdem anfühlt. Ich benutze die Seife demnächst auch für die Haarwäsche und bin gespannt auf das Ergebnis.

Das habe ich mit noch keiner Seife zuvor je so erlebt.

Ich bin so froh, dass ich diese Seife im deutschsprachigen Raum gefunden habe.

Sehr angenehmes Waschgefühl

Normalerweise benutze ich nicht gerne Seife, weil sie die Haut austrocknet. Bei dieser hier habe ich das erste Mal keine Bedenken wegen der Inhaltsstoffe und sie fühlt sich auch gut an auf der Haut. Werde ich gerne wieder kaufen.

How do you use Tallow?

Can beef tallow clog pores?

It depends on the skin condition. Beef tallow is generally well-tolerated by very dry or normal skin. However, its high saturated fat content can clog pores in people with inflamed skin (e.g., acne or rosacea). In such cases, caution is advised.

Is there any scientific evidence for the benefits of tallow soap?

A scientific analysis of 147 studies has shown that Tallow can effectively support the skin. The beef tallow soap is particularly helpful for dry and sensitive skin. Is Marrow Glow suitable for all skin types?

Yes. It's especially soothing for dry and sensitive skin, but also very suitable for normal skin. For very sensitive skin, we recommend the Pure Light series with only two ingredients or the Premium series with only one ingredient.

Is Marrow Glow also suitable for children?

Our beef tallow soap is suitable for children. In our experience, the Pure series (Light Pure), which is without essential oils, is particularly mild and therefore ideal for children's sensitive skin.

How do I store Marrow Glow?

Store in a cool, dark place. Pure, Vanilla, and Coconut varieties have a slightly shorter shelf life than Orange and Lemongrass, which last longer due to their antibacterial essential oils.

Does Marrow Glow have a noticeable smell?

No. Tallow & Marrow are carefully purified so that both our soap and our cream smell pleasantly neutral or of the selected natural fragrances.
